Hull No 801 built in 1938 by Alexander Robertson and Sons (Yacht builders) Limited of Sandbank, Argyll to a design by GL Watson and Co. Carvel double diagonally planked, mahogany on oak. Oxford blue painted finish. Iron keel.  Wheel steering.

Ex RNLI Watson lifeboat built by Robertsons of Sandbank on The Clyde in 1938 . The Sir Arthur Rose saw almost 35 years of active service, was showcased at the Glasgow Empire Exhibition then placed into active service as the Tobermory Lifeboat.  She was later stationed at Mallaig and County Cork saving many more lives.  After her long career the boat was finally released by the RNLI in 1973, refitted, re-engined and converted to a motor yacht in 1997 cruising the East Coast rivers under her new name "Rose Marion".  Unique opportunity to acquire a fantastic piece of documented nautical history.
