location icon Lowestoft, Suffolk, United Kingdom
Year 1960
Length 22'4 ft / 6.81 m
Builder/Manufacturer Chas A Purbrook Ltd (now Rossiter Yachts Ltd)
Price
£2,750

The Purbrook Heron 4 1/2 tonner is a charismatic, shallow draft, lift keel cruiser with an abundance of charm. 'Isothelo', formerly 'Wingletang', was refitted by her original builders circa 2006 and benefits from a replacement Yanmar 10hp diesel engine with very low hours, a new Lofrans winch and a good suit of sails. Her forward decks have been replaced, however the hull does now need attention which is reflected in price. Ideal purchase for somebody looking for a project with knowledge and skillset, capable of replacing the odd plank and rubbing strake.

Stunning little sail boat, originally designed for coastal cruising with a shallow draft and lifting keel, ideal for exploring The Norfolk Broads or cruising the East Coast rivers and beyond. Sensible offers on the asking price may still be considered.

Please note: Price reflects hull condition, The engine runs well and sails are good - great opportunity for a summer project. Mooring may be available for a fee until the end of March 2023 but then must be moved.
