The Picchiotti Giglio is a classic Italian gentleman's cruiser with timeless lines, built circa 1966 by the prestigious Picchiotti yard.  This particular example has had much time and love afforded to her by her current and previous owner.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to four berths in forward cabin and saloon with good headroom throughout.

Open wheelhouse with hard-top and fitted canopy (replaced 2020). Access to engine compartment via cockpit floor. Bench seating aft. Helm to port with twin engine controls and full engine instrumentation. Co-pilots seat to starboard side. Opening windscreen to centre. 

Varnished lockable cabin doors and hatch leading down and forward to accommodation with spacious store cupboard to port and heads with vanity unit, moulded sink with hot and cold pressurised water supply, electric heads and opening window. Saloon with raised dinette to port and storage beneath and cushions for berth conversion.  Linear galley opposite to starboard side, composite sink with mixer tap and plenty of storage. Hanging lockers to both sides.

Varnished wooden doors leading to forward cabin with V Berth and infill cushions creating a double berth.  Storage above and below. Hatch to foredeck. Portlights to both sides.

Beautifully presented interior with high-gloss varnished wood finish, teak and holly style laminate flooring, venetian blinds and upholstered throughout in white vinyl(2018).

Mechanical Systems

Located midships. Twin Detroit 5062-3000 six-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engines. fresh water cooled via heat exchangers. Electric start. Shaft drive to fixed three bladed bronze propellers with rope cutters. Twin lever engine controls. Approximate cruising speed 20 knots. Approximate maximum speed 35 knots. Original operators manual.

Alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt Batteries. (2019).

240V shore power supply with Centaur battery charger.

Eberspacher D2 Airtronic diesel fired warm air heating (2017)

Construction

Built circa 1966 by Pichiotti, Viarregio, Italy. Hull constructed of marine ply, double skinned on laminated frames, sheathed in epoxy with a pigmented gelcoat finish.  Decks and flybridge construction from plywood, painted white. Hardwood rubbing strake. Stainless steel stanchions and guard rails with varnish wooden top rails. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.
