The Snapdragon 747 was the updated version of the 24, a strongly built, family sailing cruiser with comfortable accommodation for up to five and a separate heads. With twin keels and a 2' 6" draft, they are ideally suited to the shallow waters of the East Coast.

This particular example is fitted with a Yanmar 8hp diesel on shaft and is presented in reasonable order for her age.  Good opportunity to get out on the water for sensible outlay.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins. V berth forward with infill cushions creating a double and stowage beneath, port lights to both sides and opening hatch to foredeck. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet. Hanging and storage lockers opposite to starboard. Saloon with L shaped dinette to port and drop down table on pole converting to a double berth. Storage above and below. Galley opposite to starboard, stainless steel sink with manual pumped water supply, 2 burner gas hob and grill, ample storage behind and below. Quarter berth aft with stowage beneath. Steps up to cockpit with seating and storage lockers under. LED interior lighting. Carpets and curtains.

Built circa 1972 by Thames Marine to their own design. White GRP hull with black style stripes and hardwood rubbing strake. Ocre GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip finish to decks. Twin keels with encapsulated ballast. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self-draining cockpit.
