The Stuart 37 was designed as a powerful, fast cruiser / racer with an excellent turn of speed and comfortable accommodation for up to six in three cabins. The accommodation offers up to six berths in three cabins and saloon with 6' headroom.

Forward cabin with V Berth and storage below. Escape hatch to foredeck. Heads with Jabsco marine toilet to port and vanity unit with shower to starboard side. Comfortable saloon with U shaped dinette to starboard. Settee berth to port with storage above and below. Navigation area to port with chart table and seat. L shaped galley opposite with stainless steel sink with cold water supply, Taylors two burner LPG cooker with oven and grill, Frigoboat refrigerated cool box and generous storage. Twin Aft cabins, port cabin with Jabsco marine toilet and vanity unit, starboard with hanging lockers. Cabin lighting. Webasto warm air diesel heating. Teak and Holly flooring. Pipework in situ to reinstate hot water if required.

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway Yanmar 3GM 28hp diesel engine (1996 and serviced annually). Raw water cooled. Electric start. Yanmar SD20 sail drive (1996) with Gori 2 blade folding propeller. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating.  Yacht was stored ashore for 8 years from engine installation and new rig in 1996 hence very low engine hours.

Construction

Built in 1979/80 by Stuart Yachts of Newhaven, Sussex to a design by Alex Stuart. White Awlgrip spray painted GRP hull with grey style lines. White GRP superstructure with moulded in non-slip to decks. Deep fin lead keel. Self draining cockpit with teak laid seating and stowage lockers.  Wheel steering to spade hung rudder.  Hull epoxied beneath water line (2000)
