The Camper and Nicholson Ranger 36 is renowned for its excellent sea-keeping qualities with fit out and quality of workmanship to match. This particular example was the last to be built, a bespoke order some ten years after the penultimate mould was cast, she has undergone many improvements and upgrades over the years including a major refit in 2006/7. The accommodation offers up to four berths in two cabins. Refitted in 2007 to a very high standard, accommodation offers quality teak joinery throughout with Teak and Holly flooring, loose fitted carpets, curtains and leather upholstery to saloon.
Wheelhouse with helm position to port, full engine controls, full instrumentation and navigation equipment. Panoramic windows offering excellent all round visibility, doors to port and starboard leading to side decks. Navigators seat, chart table and chart locker to starboard. Engine accessed via insulated hatches.
Steps leading down to aft cabin with two large berths, storage above and below, dressing table with mirror, drawers and chart locker, large hanging locker and additional drawers under stairs. Opening hatch to aft deck. Access to en-suite heads Lavac vacuum quiet flush toilet (new 2015), washbasin, cupboards and shower.
Steps leading down and forward from wheelhouse to Saloon with C shaped dinette to port with teak drop leaf table, storage below. U Shaped galley opposite, stainless steel sink with H&C water supply. Plastimo Neptune 2500 two burner gas cooker with oven and grill, Waeco refrigerator and plenty of stowage.
Forward cabin with V berths, storage above and below, access to chain locker, opening hatch to foredeck. Washbasin and dressing table with further drawers and stowage to port. En-suite access to heads with Lavac vacuum toilet, to starboard.
Located beneath the wheelhouse, 2 x Ford Lehman 225hp six cylinder turbocharged diesel engines (overhauled and rebuilt 2007) with Elasto mufflers, fresh water cooled via heat exchangers, electric start. Shaft drive to fixed pitch 3 blade propellers. Newage PRM hydraulic gearboxes. Ambassador rope cutters. Cruising speed 12 knots, maximum speed 18 knots. Single lever engine controls. Vetus bowthruster. Racor filters stripped, new seals fitted June 2015

Built in 1988 by Camper and Nicholson to a design by Gordon Moffat and extensively refitted by Suffolk Yacht Harbour during 2006/7. Blue GRP heavy duty hull finished with 3 coats of undercoats and 3 coats of topcoat in Midnight Blue (May 2015). GRP superstructure. Bespoke bathing platform. Teak decking (removed, recaulked, relayed and sealed Feb 2015). Teak cappings. Windows removed and refurbished as necessary in 2015. Running rigging to mast replaced 2015). Recent work professionally completed by Harbour Marine Services of Southwold, Suffolk.
