Accommodations

The accommodation offers up to three berths in two cabins.

Forward Cabin/Saloon area with V berth forward,( new cushions 2018), storage above and below, table support and infill creating a double (cushion required). Opening hatch to foredeck with blind and seven opening portlights.  Galley aft to starboard equipped with Sunlight Domestic 2 burner gas cooker with oven and grill (2018), removable worktop and good stowage above and below. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet to holding tank with macerator (2018), Vanity unit with stainless steel sink, H&C water supply with shower attachment, opening port light and vent. Hanging locker. Step leading to wheelhouse with helm position to port and navigators seat to starboard with Isotherm fridge beneath. Sliding windows to both sides and escape hatches above with blinds. Chart table. Stainless steel sink to starboard side with H&C pressurised water, folding work-surface and storage beneath. Settee berth to port, seating to starboard. Sliding windows aft with split door to centre.  Carpets, curtains and co-ordinating scatter cushions.

Comfortable cockpit area with engine access lockers to both sides, teak grill, folding cockpit table and bench seat aft with storage locker beneath. Port and starboard vented gas lockers.

Mechanical Systems

Located in insulated engine boxes beneath wheelhouse with additional access from the cockpit, twin Yanmar 4LHSTE four cylinder 240hp diesel engines (Serviced 2019) Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Dual single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 3 blade bronze propellers. Full engine instrumentation. Bennett trim tabs. Vetus bow and stern thrusters with remote controls,( remote controls 2018). Cruising speed approx. 16 knots, maximum speed approx. 22 knots. Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating. Anodes and seacocks recently replaced and serviced for winter. All seacocks replaced (2018).

12v Batteries charged via engine alternators.

Construction

Seaward 29 Motor Cruiser built in 2000 and commissioned 2001 by Seaward Marine to a design by Arthur Mursell (TT Boat Designs). GRP semi-displacement hull in dark blue gelcoat. White GRP superstructure with moulded in non-slip to decks.  Wheel steering to twin rudders. Teak laid cockpit seating. Teak lower and rubber upper rubbing strakes. Hull professionally resprayed in 2017. Antifouled 2019.
